Letter from Scottish Government to ESS - Soils Report Recommendations

Environmental Standards Scotland (ESS) received a letter from the Scottish Government on 16 December 2025 in connection with ESS’ recommendations in ESS’ report “The Risks to Scotland’s Soils: A Scoping Report”.

This correspondence follows the Scottish Government’s initial response to the report and ESS’ subsequent statement on this response.
