ESS received a response from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency on Monday, 1 September 2025 in connection with ESS’ recommendations in the report: Storm overflows – an assessment of spills, their impact on the water environment and the effectiveness of legislation and policy.
ESS will now analyse this response and will provide an update here in due course.
