Environmental Standards Scotland rolls out new community engagement programme
- 27 March 2024
Environmental Standards Scotland (ESS) held its first community engagement event earlier this month.
Members of the Coastal Communities Network (CCN) were invited to meet with members of ESS and share their views on the issues impacting Scotland’s environment. CCN were also given the opportunity to learn more about how ESS is working to protect Scotland from environmental harm.
The event was the first in a series of workshops hosted by ESS to encourage people to talk about the environmental issues that matter most to them.
Being accessible to the public is a priority for ESS. This programme will allow ESS to meet with, and listen directly to, the concerns of individuals and environmental groups in Scotland.
We encourage individuals and community groups that have a stake in Scotland’s environment to get in touch with ESS to find out more about our community engagement programme.
You can contact ESS by emailing enquiries@environmentalstandards.scot
