Dr Annalisa Savaresi

Board Member

Annalisa’s academic career includes research and teaching roles at the Universities of Edinburgh and Copenhagen before taking up her current post as Senior Lecturer in Environmental Law at the University of Stirling. She has also held research fellowships with the Scottish Parliament Information Centre and the Danish Ministry for Energy and Climate Change. She has served on the Scottish Government’s Roundtable on Environment and Climate Change and holds law degrees from the Universities of Brescia, Durham and Copenhagen.

Annalisa’s legal expertise in international and European environmental law is complemented by her experience of working internationally with governments and non-governmental organisations, particularly in climate change law and in developing human rights based approaches to environmental protection.
